The Samsung Gear IconX earbuds are said to work with most Android devices provided that they are running Android 4.4 or later and they have at least 1.5GB of RAM. One of most surprising and the most amazing feature of these cordless earbuds is that they come with a 4GB of internal storage that can be used for storing music or other audio files. Thus, the user needs no connected device to enjoy music; they can store music on these earbuds too!
Fitness Tracking:
It looks like Samsung has desired Gear IconX as a multipurpose device. It can also be used a fitness tracking device. It has the capability to measure movement, distance traveled and the heart rate through sensors that are built into the earbuds. Moreover, it can also track the calories burned. All of the fitness information that is recorded is stored in S Health app by Samsung on the user’s phone or tablet, and can then be exported to other fitness apps.

However, if the user is listening to the music that is stored in the earbuds’ internal memory, they would last for about 3.5 hours.
Controlling the Audio:
The user can control their audio just by tapping and swiping on the earbuds directly. Furthermore, the Gear IconX can be controlled by an Android app that the user can download to their device.

Samsung Gear IconX will be available at the most electronic retailers for $199.
